GOAL THAT I ACCOMPLISHED IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER

THE THAT I ACCOMPLISHED ON SATURDAY OCT. 25 WAS TO PLAY FOOTBALL.

WE WENT UP TO 10.....THERE WERE 8 PEOPLE...SO WE PLAYED FOUR ON FOUR....MY TEAM WON TWICE AND WE LOST ONCE....IT WAS COLD THAT DAY....I PLAYED FOOTBALL TO HAVE FUN AND STAY IN SHAPE....AND PLUS MY COUSIN WANTED ME TO PLAY ALONG....

ANOTHER GOAL THAT I ACCOMPLISHED WAS TO PLAY SOCCER.

I PLAYED SOCCER THE DAY OF MY P.T. TRAINING....IT WAS ON THE 27 OF OCTOBER....MY FRIENDS LUIS CONTRERAS, CHRIS MAGDELENO, EMMANUEL REYES, GABY VEGA, VICTORIA CANO, RENATO SANCHEZ, MARICIO MANZO, AND CESAR PEREZ ALL PLAYED SOCCER....IT WAS RAINING LIKE CRAZY THAT DAY....BUT WE DIDNT LET ANYTHING STOP US TO PLAY....I SCORED 2 GOALS....I SNAPPED....I ALSO PLAYED SOCCER TO STAY IN SHAPE.

THE KING I WOULD LIKE TO BE FROM BRITAIN...

1.THE KING I WOULD LIKE TO BE FROM U.K IS KING GEORGE IV.

3. HE BECAME KING IN OTHER PLACES AND COUNTRIES, SUCH AS IRELAND.

4. PRINCE GEORGE WAS 57 YEARS OLD WHEN HIS FATHER DIED AND HE BECAME KING.

5. THE FIRST MONARCH SINCE RICHARD II TO VISIT IRELAND.

6. MONARCHY WAS FORTUNATE TO SURVIVE THE EFFECTS OF KING GEORGE IV.

7. NAPOLEONIC WARS IN EUROPE.

8. KING GEORGE III DIED OF RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS ON JUNE 26, 1830.

9. I CHOSE KING GEORGE IV BECAUSE HE WENT THROUGH SOME POLITICAL PROBLEMS AND I WANTED TO KNOW HOW IT TURNED OUT IN HIS REIGN OF KING.

BEOWULF POEM

The bravest and the best of the geats, Beowulf!
Beowulf sailed over the sea to save Hrothgar from slicky Grendel
Hrothgar's men live happy in his hall while singing some songs
Darkness dropped, Grendel drips in his enemy's blood, delighted
Distance was the safety; only survivors, but can't see when they sleep
So Beowulf arose with his men around him
Planning how to defeat the fiend
Now help was needed
Beowulf's bravery brought him and Grendel together
Grendel tugged tight to Beowulf, with his large talons
Both battlings on Herots big walls
The man, Beowulf, meant to hold the monster till it's life leaped out
The monster flight, fastened his claws
Beowulf grabbed Grendel's arm
Snap! Muscle and bone split and broke, Grendel was now Defeated.

GOALS I ACCOMPLISHED

Goals you have accomplished:

One goals that i have accomplished are:
-Play baseball

I practice outside of school for the season that's getting ready to start in January (conditioning). I play baseball because I like play and watch that sport. It's my most favorite hobby. I am also good at that sport.




Another goal that i have accomplished already was to do a lot of P.T.


I like to do P.T because it keeps you fit. Also it keeps your body healthy. It would make your heart good by getting the energy you get. Thats why i chose this goal.

5 Things about Anglo Saxon times

-The cultures would fight for there nation until death is occured or until victory is won.

-The nation would try and conquer villages and expand there culture.

-They would trade things for better things. They would trade with others who came across.

-They would sacrafice for the god they believe in. Also worship that specific god.

-There biggest fears were believing in Monsters that haunt the night.

Grendel

Favorite Part in Grendel:

-He slipped through the door and there in the silence snatched up thirty men, smashed them unknowing in their beds and ran out with their bodies, the blood dripping behind him, back to his lair, delighted with his night's slaughter.

I chose this part from the story because it was explicit and told us how Grendel was like throughout the story.

Favorite in Beowulf:

-As he was loved by the Geats: the omens were good, and they urged the adventure on.

I chose that part because Beowulf had so much respect from Kings around the world. He was like a legend. People like bowed down to him

Favorite part of The Battle With Grendel:

-Grendel snatched at the first Geat he came to, ripped him apart, cut his body to bits with powerful jaws, drank the blood from his veins.

I chose this part from the story because this part was also explicit. The author told us how powerful Grendel was. Also the author told us how strong and cold hearted he was, how he didn't care about anything.
