Grendel

Favorite Part in Grendel:

-He slipped through the door and there in the silence snatched up thirty men, smashed them unknowing in their beds and ran out with their bodies, the blood dripping behind him, back to his lair, delighted with his night's slaughter.

I chose this part from the story because it was explicit and told us how Grendel was like throughout the story.

Favorite in Beowulf:

-As he was loved by the Geats: the omens were good, and they urged the adventure on.

I chose that part because Beowulf had so much respect from Kings around the world. He was like a legend. People like bowed down to him

Favorite part of The Battle With Grendel:

-Grendel snatched at the first Geat he came to, ripped him apart, cut his body to bits with powerful jaws, drank the blood from his veins.

I chose this part from the story because this part was also explicit. The author told us how powerful Grendel was. Also the author told us how strong and cold hearted he was, how he didn't care about anything.
